The Hammers were entirely humiliated by the lower division opposition at Oxford last night.

Oliver Burns I didn’t see the game but read Zaba’s comment this morning. We lacked the intensity of Oxford. Well, I’m afraid that we rarely show the intensity that is needed, especially early in games. So, it’s pretty easy for teams who are “up for it.”
Martin Pacetti I went to the game, and quite honestly it was an embarrassment, taking nothing away from Oxford, or their manager, who made a tactical switch half way through the first half, which snuffed out the only threat we had from Holland. Oxford wanted it more.
Andy Hopkins This lack of intensity last night again was apparent against Villa and even Man Utd, but I’ve noticed the last few games we have been slow and laboured.
Kåre Bryn ‘Wholesale changes were disrespectful to Oxford’. Really? Oxford had six changes from their last league match.

It’s not like it’s not happened before. Wholesale changes, the players that come in just don’t want to put in a shift. A lot of those players have to be moved on. I would guess, we will see the same in the fa cup as well.
