Palace will try to hijack Iheanacho deal
The 20-year-old is widely expected to leave the Etihad Stadium this summer after the emergence of Gabriel Jesus alongside Sergio Aguero and he has remained one of the Hammers top targets since the season closed.
It has now emerged that Palace could be about to change all that, despite not having a manager in place at the present time but rumours suggest that former City boss Pellegrini could soon take the role.
West Ham have been unable to seal a deal with Iheanacho as yet with the price and buyback clause still not agreed between the two clubs. No personal terms have been agreed with the player and it still remains to be seen whether the striker wants a move to London to get regular first team football.
