Crystal Palace are reported this morning of having joined the chase of Diafra Sakho.

And with interest out there from Sunderland, West Brom and Swansea the Irons are hoping the price will be pushed beyond the £15 million minimum price tag they have on the player.

Palace boss Alan Pardew is taking a keen look at the unsettled Hammers front man after cooling on Liverpool’ Christian Benteke at more than double the price.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis remains keen and we understand that Swansea have now added him to their shopping list along with Enner Valencia whom they have also inquired about.

Sunderland’s interest in Sakho remains on hold whilst the FA talks to Black Cats manager Sam Allardyce is nvolved in talks with England.

West Ham say they will not allow Sakho, who has scored 15 goals in 43 appearances, to depart unless they have brought in his replacement.

And David Sullivan told ClaretandHugh yesterday that he had a personal pledge from the player he would be available for the start of the season should he be required.
