ClaretandHugh has reported the club is preparing for talks with the stopper and Parkesy believes they have got it right insisting it was a wrong decision to bring Hart to the club declaring: “I don’t like him as a keeper and it was unnecessary.
“It’s a big feather in Adrian’s cap that he has managed to regain the sweater having done the same last season when we had two entirely adequate keepers on the staff. ”
Having said that, he blames the Spaniard from the opening goal against Bournemouth last weekend and a look at the video explains why with the stopper coming off his line for a 50-50 and then retreating when believing he couldn’t get there before being beaten.
But Parkesy said: “All keepers make misjudgements but for me Adrian is the better of the two and I m happy that the club are ready to offer him new deal in the summer.”
