Payet shirt offer is devalued

West Ham’s gesture of trading in named Payet shirts for £25 has been completely eclipsed after the club today put all home shirts on sale for £25 today.

Two weeks ago WHUFC.com announced “West Ham United are offering any supporter who purchased a 2016-17 replica West Ham United shirt printed with Dimitri Payet’s name and number the opportunity to buy a replacement shirt for just £25.*

To redeem this offer, simply bring your 2016-17 replica shirt printed with Payet name and number into any of our three official club stores (Stadium, Romford or Lakeside) before 31 May 2017.  This offer applies to 2016-17 home, away and Thames Ironworks commemorative shirts, in adult or junior sizes, and is available while stocks last.

*£25 replacement shirt offer does not include name and number printing. Please note that the Season Ticket Holder discount cannot be used in conjunction with the re-purchase of a shirt.”

Today the club emailed over 100,000 customers on it’s database announcing all replica shirt are now £25 to anyone.

However, since the writing of this article the club have now confirmed the Payet shirt offer now includes free shirt printing as an extra gesture.
