Pelle may be ready to give nod to a big favourite

Manuel Pellegrini is refusing to give up on injury ravaged Jack Wilshere despite recent reports that the player could be attracted to an American or Chinese move.

The manager remains a huge fan of the 27 year who – as reported elsewhere on the site – is now back in full training with the first team squad.

And there are big suggestions that should Mark Noble fail to make it into the starting line up, it will be the former Gunner who will be called upon to partner Declan Rice in midfield against the north Londoners.

At least there will be no love lost should that be the case for as a former Gunner  Jack will be very keen indeed to put it over his of and possibly fiercest rivals.

We understand that Pelle remains very keen on the player despite his injury situation since joining the club with a source telling us on the ‘phone: “He’s always been a massive fan and refuses to give up on Jack.”
