Manuel Pellegrini  enjoying his life as the team makes some strides forward!
Tonight they have the chance to go third in the table at Aston Villa before returning to the London Stadium on Sunday for a clash with Manchester United.
Each game is going to tell us more and more about where we are and with United currently in fourth place a titanic game could be on the cards when we reassemble for the next home match.
The manager has always made much of the London Stadium effect believing that with such a capacity, the fans can have an enormous impact on performances and results.
That certainly seemed to be the case against Norwich when the play was truly rocking as the team produced one of their best performances in a very long time and it’s a huge bonus for him that the fans are enjoying not only the stadium but the brand of football we are seeing served up.
Talking to reporters he said: “It is a positive moment but we are working very hard to maintain. It was not easy to start last season with so many problems in that moment.
Now the fans are enjoying the games, they like to go to the London Stadium to see the team playing in that way. We must extend that moment for the season.
I think it is so important that when you have so many fans behind you that you try to have an achievement at the end of the season. That is what we must try.
We understand it is not easy because there are very good teams. But we must show in every game that we are fighting for that achievement.
