Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed Andy Carroll rumours linking him with a move away from West Ham this winter.

Carroll was linked to an unlikely move to Spurs earlier this week by a red-topped tabloid. Pellegrini confirmed he didn’t think Andy Carroll before the end of the season when his current contract expires.

Pellegrini told reporters at the lunchtime press conference Rush Green “He was out for a long time with an injury, but now he is working every day with the squad and I think his performances are improving with every game. I don’t think Andy will leave the Club before the end of the season.”

Carroll has put his nine-bedroom mansion in Chigwell up for sale this week and is rumoured to be considering a move to the US and MLS in the summer when his contract with the Hammers ends. The 30-year-old joined West Ham from Liverpool in 2012 making the move permanent in 2013 for a transfer fee worth £17m.
