Former Chelsea player turned radio host Jason Cundy has called West Ham’s appointment of Manual Pellegrini over a year ago lazy.

Cundy told Talkspofrt radio listeners. “After David Moyes So they bought in Pellegrini, Lazy!, Laxy appointment, just because he won the Premier League. Any manager who goes out to China now I would not touch with a barge pole. It is telling me as a potential club owner, if I owned a football club I would not then go looking for someone who has gone out to China, who has gone out to grass, gone out there to end his career on huge money, good luck to them. But to bring him back to the Premier League  I thought was lazy!”

Cundy was speaking to his partner in crime Manchester United fan Andy Goldstein on the Talk Sport Sports Bar show.

Claret and Hugh say:

Funny how these so-called experts did not share their wisdom sixteen months after his initial appointment, where was Cundy then calling the appointment lazy? It takes a bad run in form with the Chilean winless in six games before the haters come out full of hindsight now calling the appointment a mistake.

Where was the media outcry last year after his appointment? How many West Ham supporters objected to his appointment to replace David Moyes?

Cundy is being controversial to stir things on his radio show to get West Ham fans backs up, maybe he wants to take on Adrian Durham’s like the radio station’s shock jock.

Two years ago Cundy criticised the owners for keeping Slaven Bilic saying they would never achieve Champions League football with the Croatian manager.

That led to David Gold tweeting “Cundy doesn’t k[no]w what he’s talking about”
