Manuel Pellegrini wants to bring the under 23s into much closer contact with the senior squad and plans to have them training at Rush Green as he keeps an eye on their development.

ClaretandHugh understands the new manager has started a review of the Academy and has been handed dossiers on every player under academy manager Terry Westley.

Among the rising Academy stars are winger  Nathan Holland (right), Marcus Browne and Josh Pask, Martin Samuelsen,  Vashon Neufville, Dan Kemp, Grady Diangana, and Jahmal Hector Ingram.

Pellegrini has visited Chadwell Heath and is reportedly keen to integrate the youngsters with their first team peers following their fine first season in Premier League 2 Division 1 when they finished fifth in their first season after promotion.

And he will ensure that every player will be monitored keenly in pre-season before they are allowed out of loan or a decision made on their futures.
