Pellegrini: Pressure… what pressure?

Manuel Pellerini is feeling no more pressure right now than on his first day at West Ham United.

It’s come in every direction on social media and the sacking of Maurico Pochettino has only increased from some who believe if Spurs can sack their boss why can do the same to ours after some bad results.
It’s not everyone’s view by any means and a victory tomorrow would undoubtedly change the atmosphere considerably – a couple of further decent results following that and it would all but have gone away.
That’s simply the nature of the game – results are everything and beating Spurs of course is the cherry on the top of the cake for all Hammers fans.
Despite being horrified by the run since we met Crystal Palace, it’s not the results that hurt as much as the manner in which we performed when there was a lack of basic skills and a seemingly poor attitude.
Pellegrini gave his feelings at the pre-match press conference declaring:”For me, the pressure that I’m feeling at the moment is exactly the same that I was feeling on the first day at West Ham.
“Tottenham is a special game, but it is not the last game. It is not enough to beat Tottenham and then be in 14th or 15th position in the table.
“I trust a lot in our players because we have shown a lot of times we can do it against big teams. Over the international break we had time to talk about a long of things with the players. “
