These are magic moments for the club in general and the greatest supporters in the world in particular and it’s terrific that we are all being rewarded in such a special way.
Four wins on the trot and most believing a fifth is on the horizon against Watford at the London Stadium this weekend is sending levels of optimism soaring.
And at the end of the day it’s Pelle and his team who have to take the plaudits for forging not only the succession of wins but the style in which we are playing.
And the manager is thrilled that he is again at the centre of fan fervour which we haven’t seen for all too long.
He said: “One of the things that I am very happy about in career as a manager is that, in every team I managed before, I had a good name with the fans – in Villarreal, in Malaga, in Manchester City, everywhere – so I am very happy that the fans are enjoying what we are doing here, also.
“I’m very happy with the squad more than with individual players, particularly as we are in this position in the table after starting the season with no points from the first four games.”
