West Ham fans have sent a clear “don’t sack Slav” message to the West Ham board.

David Sullivan made it clear on the official website that the next two games are “Cup Finals” which was widely interpreted by the media as meaning the manager is on the edge.

And although ClaretandHugh sources claim the manager is under big pressure the two game situation may not necessarily be the case. However, last Friday’s 5-0 thumping by Manchester City has left a huge question mark over his future.

However, the fans refuse to nail the blame on the boss in a poll on ClaretandHugh associate editor Sean Whetstone’s Twitter @WestHamFootball.

Sean asked fans who they blamed for the current situation at the club and the result after 1,354 votes had been cast was less than clear cut.

Just three per cent pinned the sole responsibility on the manager with 34 per cent blaming the board, the three  24 per cent on the players and 40 per cent all of them collectively.

And in a second poll which was voted by over 1,750 people the issue was simplified to a sack him or not 84 per cent said let him see out the season with just 16 per cent saying enough is enough.
