Poll: Payet or Paolo – we have a clear winner

Dimi Payet’s wonder goal against Middlesborough may have got everybody out of their seats but it still can’t eclipse the best goal ever seen by a West Ham player.

A ClaretandHugh poll asked whether the Frenchman’s amazing solo effort was better than Paolo Di Canio’s fabuou volley against Wimbledon back in 2000.

Over 1200 voted in the poll and PDC came out a resounding winner with 73 per cent of the vote against Dimi’ 22 with five per cent of you unsure and recording a don’t know vote.
