Poll: Should West Ham pay Marko £200,000 per week?

Marko Arnautovic has been at the centre of the headlines all week with lengthy quotes from his agent brother Danijel that he wants to play at the highest level. And today it emerged in the national press and was confirmed by senior sources to ClaretandHugh later that he is asking for a £200,000 a week salary.

When we approached a senior club insider he confirmed that the approach on wages had been made adding that the club could not pay it because it would risk dressing room discontent.

Marko has since dismissed the claims which is his right and good news if that’s the case although our information quickly confirmed that the morning newspaper revelations are in fact true.

Either way it begs the question: “Is Marko worth £200k a week”  and that’s the poll question we are asking this evening.
