Yesterday West Ham were linked in the chase for former Hammer Mohamed Diame who now plays for Newcastle. The midfielder contract is due to end next month and he will be available on a free transfer. According to Turkish daily Sabah West Ham are one of a number of clubs chasing the free agent.
