Burnley have won just one of their last nine games against West Ham in all competitions (D2, L6).

Their solitary victory was March’s 3-0 win at the London Stadium which was marred by pitch invasions and board protests.

The Hammers have won six of the nine Premier League games between these sides (D1, L2).

The Clarets have only won one of their last 12 top-flight games, losing nine of those matches. They have lost six of their previous seven games, including the last three.

Burnley have already conceded 41 goals in the Premier League this season, two more than they shipped in total last term.

Burnley have lost their last five Premier League home games played on Sunday.

West Ham have won five of their last six league games – as many victories as in their previous 20 matches.

The Hammers tally of 15 Premier League points in December is already their highest total in a single month in the division.

The Hammers could win four successive Premier League away matches for just the second time in their history (it also happened between April and September 2007). The last time they won four consecutive away matches in a single top-flight season was in 1985.

After scoring just once in his first 10 Premier League appearances, Felipe Anderson has scored seven goals in his last nine matches.

Bookies make West Ham the 6/5 favourites for the win with the Burnley win or a draw both quoted at odds at 5/2.
