BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson predicts a 2-0 loss for the Hammers today telling his BBC website readers:

“West Ham are flying along in fourth place and got a great win over Tottenham last weekend – they are doing so well anyway but to beat their rivals like that must have been pretty sweet.

I really like the way David Moyes has made them so solid at the back, with a well-drilled back-four and Declan Rice sitting in front of them, but this is a big test for that defence – they are going to Etihad Stadium, and obviously Manchester City are sweeping all before them and on a run on 19 straight wins.

The Hammers took a point from them at London Stadium back in October, but City look a completely different beast now.

ExWHUEmployee predicts the same scoreline adding  “All in looking for from today’s game is a strong performance that we can take heart from. I just think Man City are too strong for anyone in the league and whilst we will give it a go and play well I see a 2-0 loss!

Moore Than Just A Podcast presenter Nigel Kahn predicts a 2-2 draw saying “City’s run has to come to end Our counter-attacking play may catch them out”

Stelios from Irons United Youtube Channel predicts a 2-2 draw saying  “This is a real test of character for Moyes and the team against a side that is looking for its 20th win in a row. But, as they say, all good things come to an end and Jlingz will earn us a point today. A Desmond 2-2”

Claret and Hufg Associate editor Sean Whetstone predicts an optimistic 1-0 away win for the Hammers “Their unbeaten run must end at some time and they are due to concedee a goal so why not against us? Let’s ruin the party!”
