West Ham has yet to sell out the opening Premier League match of the season against Manchester City with under 1,000 tickets remaining un-sold on general sale.

This season some categories and bands of standard priced tickets have seen marginal increases of between 50p and £2 this season.

For the first time, the Club has introduced Under-16 concession pricing for Category A games in Bands 4 and 5. These tickets are £10 cheaper than standard match tickets.

Claret members continue to get a £5 discount from all match day tickets.

With only 3,000 general tickets going on sale for each game it will be disappointing for the club that over a third remain on general sale for the first game but the opening game has been moved to a lunchtime kick-off and is televised on BT Sport, many supporters will be on summer holiday and expectations might be low against the Premier League champions.

There are 54,000 season ticket holders this season some of which could also be on holiday and unable to attend the game, the ticket exchange will not open until a game is officially sold out. All that said I would be surprised if the game doesn’t sell out by next week.
