Questions over Ayew future

West Ham would be ready to listen to offers for £20 million signing Andre Ayew in January or next summer.

The former Swansea star has been used in a variety of positions over 40 appearances and has yet to show that he will seriously impact on the team.

He has managed seven league goals over two seasons  but his form has been indifferent at best since an early injury put him out of action soon after joining.

Now the player could become a candidate for the exit door as  doubts start to arise over his contribution since making the switch from the Welsh club.

He has appeared in every League and Cup match this season but has managed just one League strike in a series of disappointing excursions.

Manager Slaven Bilic has played him in a variety of positions without seeing any serious improvement and ClaretandHugh has learned that patience is running out.

We were told: “Being realistic were offers to come in we would have to listen but we of course remain  hopeful things will come good..”

January could be an interesting time among the strike force at the club with questions arising over both Ayew and Diafra Sakho
