It now seems inevitable that David Moyes will be forced to make a major decision on one Hammers player despite there having been no formal inquiry for him at this point.

West Brom – guided by former Hammers pair Slaven Bilic and Julian Dicks – are known to want Grady Diangana at The Hawthorns and it can’t be long before the first conversations begin on a possible switch.

Slaven look certain to go for Diangana

And their return to the Premier League  now looks certain to prompt a bid for a kid who has become something of a Baggies cult figure.

With just a few weeks available to make big decisions, the Hammers boss will not be in a position to get involved in lengthy discussions with the Slav and it’s probable a quick decision will be made one way or the other.

Initially, Grady was seen as a £12 million to £15 million player but the Covid 19 situation may well have affected that.

The youngsters has featured in 31 games for the Baggies, scoring eight goals from midfield so the Hammers boss has to decide whether he can do the job for us or whether he needs the cash for other targets.

A source close to Albion told us on the phone: “Slaven loves the guy – there’s bound to be a bid for him.”
