Championship club Fulham are hoping to keep Fabio Carvalho at Craven Cottage amid links with Premier League sides, per The London Evening Standard.

There is said to be interest from the Hammers in securing the attacking midfielder this month, while there is also interest from both Liverpool and Southampton.

Carvalho has emerged as a key player for the club this season, making 17 appearances in the Championship and scoring eight goals, while also laying on two assists.

Primarily an attacking midfielder, Carvalho is still just 19 and has a contract that expires at the end of the season.

But the Standard reports that Fulham have not given up hope of convincing the teenager to extend his stay at Craven Cottage and are working to extend his contract.

He has previously rejected the offer of a new deal and there may well be a desire at the club to move him on this month if he again rejects a contract.
