Transfer news: French eyeing move for Amalfitano

Morgan Amalfitano could soon be on his way out of Upton Park if reports in France linking him with St Etienne are correct.

The midfielder has been banned from Chadwell Heath by boss Slaven Bilic after missing a team meeting. And other alleged disciplinary offences have also been taken into account.

But there’s strong speculation that he is wanted across the channel and that the Hammers are keen to do a deal.

St Etinenne have been interested in the player for some time and his West Ham dilemma will presumably encourage them to move in.

Bilic  also said the former West Brom star “gave him attitude” and with St-Etienne are in desperate need of a winger after recently selling Max Gradel to Premier League new boys Bournemouth, see the former France international as a decent option.
