According to the Daily Mail, West Ham made initial enquiries about Bradley Dack from Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers.

The report claims the Hammers believe that his £18million price tag is too high for the 25-year-old attacker but Blackburn may yet lower their valuation if Dack is to get his move to the Premier League.

Dack has been in outstanding form for Blackburn this season, scoring 18 goals and making 10 assists in 45 games across all competitions, scoring the same number of goals the previous season.

Crystal Palace is also said to be interested in the Championship attacker but also think Rovers have overpriced him.

Dack was born in Greenwich and joined Charlton’s Academy before being released at age 14. He joined Gillingham in 2008 on a three-year scholarship before moving to Blackburn in 2017 for £750,000. In his first season for the club he scored 18 goals in 42 league appearances and won the EFL League One Player of the Season award.
