Report: Hammers eye Liverpool striker

Liverpool striker Danny Ings is reported to be on the Hammer radar as a possible loan signing in January but they are likely to have to fight off interest from West Brom, Brighton and Crystal Palace.

Ings is looking to resurrect his career after two years on the sidelines with injuries and Liverpool boss Jugen Klopp indicated he was ready to to let him out on loan when he said: “He is not far away. The best news is he is really fit.

“But the problem is we have strikers who have been training for four to five months and he has been in and out.

“In his position we have Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge, Dominic Solanke and they were always involved, more or less. I cannot make the squad bigger. But Danny looks really good, sharp, everything.”
