West Ham has made an offer for Manchester City and Venezuela midfielder Yangel Herrera, according to FUTVE English.

The Twitter account specialises in Venezuelan football and they have had Venezuelan footballers on their podcast.

On Friday they wrote: “There are ‘offers on the table’ for Yangel Herrera from four Premier League clubs.

“FUTVE English have been reliably informed Crystal Palace, Southampton, West Ham and Leeds are all after the Manchester City midfielder.

“The strongest offer is from Crystal Palace.”

Herrera moved to City in 2017 from Atletico Venezuela but he has yet to make a single appearance for Pep Guardiola’s side.

He was immediately loaned out to City’s sister club, New York City, for two years making 38 appearances and scoring one goal in the MLS.

He has since gone on loan to both Huesca and Granada in Spain making 62 appearances and scoring 10 more goals.

The 23-year-old is a relatively experienced head for his age, winning 23 caps for Venezuela, and he has also made over 70 appearances in La Liga.

Herrera is a versatile presence too, as he can play in defensive midfield, attacking midfield, or central midfield.
