West Ham are eyeing a deal to sign Justin Kluivert from Roma, according to a new report in Italy.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that there is interest from the Hammers in signing the Netherlands international this summer.

Kluivert plays primarily as a left winger but is also capable of playing on the right and up front.

However, it is unclear what his future holds as he was loaned to French club OGC Nice last season.

Kluivert scored six goals throughout that spell, and is said to be liked by the Hammers, ahead of a potential summer bid.

He is valued at around €15m by the Italian club, which translates to £12.7m.

That asking price is well within the Hammers’ budget, and David Moyes does need to find a replacement for Andriy Yarmolenko in his squad after he departed at the end of his contract.

There is also said to be interest in signing Kluivert from France.
