West Ham have rejected a bid from QPR for Emmanuel Longelo, according to journalist Mike McGrath.

The 21-year-old has previously been linked with Nottingham Forest, and The Sun reported last week that both Rangers and Bournemouth are interested.

QPR also appear to have made an attempt to secure Longelo’s signature, although McGrath has not revealed the nature of the offer tabled by the Championship club.

The 21-year-old has struggled to make a breakthrough in east London and has, thus far, made just two senior appearances for the Hammers.

He played 90 minutes in the Europa League against Dinamo Zagreb, and came on as a substitute in the EFL Cup tie against Hull City in 2020.

His contract runs until 2023 so the Irons need to make a decision over his future this summer; this could be the final chance the club get to receive a fee for his services, or he may go on a free transfer next summer.
