Report: Lanzini loan deal doomed to failure
Lanzini has chalked up over 130 appearances for the club but he started just 14 games last season and is reportedly available to be sold if his valuation is met.
The report claims the Turkish club have been one of the first clubs to make a move, however, their loan offer is doomed to failure as the player himself is not keen on making the switch to Turkey.
The Argentine midfielder is available for around 15 million euros (£13.5m) but his six-figure weekly wages are likely to be stumbling block for any move outside the Premier League.
David Moyes is said to have been impressed with Lanzini in pre-season training and the 27-year-old appears to have returned to training with a fresh attitude, no doubt motivated by the reports that he is surplus to requirements by the manager.
Lanzini initially signed on a season-long loan from Al Jazira in 2015 later converting that to a permanent transfer for £10.8m a year later.
He currently has two years left on his current deal plus a two year option and the club failed to move for Eberechi Eze may suggest – given Lanzini’s pick up in form during pre-season – that he could be seen as a realistic first team option again for the new season.
