Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Lazio won’t sell for anything below €50m (£44m) for Anderson.
The reason why the asking price is so high explains the article is that Lazio would owe Santos 25% of any profit they make on the player (they paid €8m for him), so the more they get for him, the more they get to keep.
The report also suggests that Watford and Monaco are also tracking developments and are keen on the Brazilian.
The representatives of Anderson are set to hold discussions with Lazio over their client’s future today.
Lazio are not keen on selling the 25-year-old while also at the same time raising the prospect of a new contract. But Anderson is unsure about continuing with Lazio and his representatives are due to mull over the situation with the Serie A club.
