Manchester United appear to casting their eyes elsewhere for a central defender after being snubbed by the Irons in their move for Issa Diop.

The interest was very real at one point as Old Trafford employed agents tested Hammers director of Football Mario Husillos’ resolve in holding onto the young Frenchman.

However, it went no further than a firm rebuttal by the Hammers board and the result is that the Reds are now  reported to in talks to sign West Ham target Ozan Kabak from Stuttgart, according to German outlet Kicker, and reported again by  the Metro.

There have been fresh comments from the Hammers to CandH declaring there is no way Diop would be allowed to leave and that has left manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with no options but to look elsewhere.
Kabak is a highly rated defender who at one point was of interest to the Irons as Pellegrini looked to strenthen at the back
Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Schalke, Monaco and ourselves have all reported to have shown interest in the 19-year-old.
