David Moyes has put a halt to Issa Diop’s potential exit from West Ham, according to a new report from French journalist Loic Tanzi.

Fulham are attempting to bring the defender into the club this summer but the Irons have made it clear that they won’t accept less than £20m.

Tanzi reports that a move to Craven Cottage was nearing completion but there is said to be an issue holding up the deal at this point.

Moyes is reported to have told those involved in the transfer to “stop everything” as he aims to make a decision over the transfer.

Diop is said to have been told by the Hammers boss that Diop is the fifth-choice centre-back at this point, but he is still said to be having second thoughts over sanctioning his move away.

This makes a lot of sense, as we’re well aware of Moyes’ penchant for standing in the way of any deals; ‘dithering Dave’ is a nickname that has some real weight.
