Armstrong Okoflex has travelled in London to finalise a move from Celtic to West Ham according to the Glasgow Herald and Times Sport

The 19-year-olld joined Celtic back in 2019 but struggled to push through from the academy side and into the first-team under Neil Lennon.

The attacker made his debut last season while Celts were down to the bare bones due to a Covid scare following Christopher Jullien’s positive diagnosis after the Dubai trip.

He played against Hibs in a 1-1 draw and then again in a goalless draw at home to Livingston.

West Ham manager David Moyes is said to be a fan of the player and it is likely he will put pen to paper on a Hammers contract this month.

Okoflex was close to a switch from Parkhead to Huddersfield only for the Championship club to pull the plug at the eleventh hour on deadline day.

Brendan Rodgers brought the youngster to Glasgow from Arsenal. He has been capped at youth level, the under-19s, for Republic of Ireland.

Okoflex looks like he’ll sign a two-year deal at West Ham, with a one-year extension option and will join as a free agent.
