Sky Italia journalist, Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Hammers have made a fresh bid of £32m to Lyon for Alexandre Lacazette. PSG are said to have cooled their interest and West Ham are keen to test the resolve of Lyon president Aulas again before a self imposed 1st July deadline.

The 25-year-old scored 23 times in 44 appearances for Lyon last term, and he is regarded as one of the best strikers in Europe.

The West Ham offer is said to be just over €40m and could well be tempting to Lyon. Last month Lyon confirmed they rejected a €40m offer for Lacazette from West Ham. “For a sale to be made, all three parties must agree. We have refused several offers, the most important from West Ham for 40m euros and we refused it,” Aulas previously told French daily Le Progres.
Di Marzio adds that “Lacazette could be leaving France to play in the Premier League.”
Yesterday we reported that Lacazette screamed “Payeeeeeeeet” followed by eight smileys and the French flag on twitter to show his love for the West Ham midfielder.
