Report: West Ham star linked with Liverpool interest

According to a report in the Daily Mail  West Ham record signing Felipe Anderson is one of twelve possible names Jurgen Klopp has looked at so far.

The other 11 on Liverpool’s list are Bertrand Traore and Maxwell Cornet from Lyon, Samuel Chukwueze from Villareal, Ryan Fraser from Bournemouth, Hakim Ziyech from Ajax, Tim Werner from Red Bull Leizig, Joao Felix from Benfica, Nicolas Pepe from Lille, Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen, David Neres from Ajax and Maxi Gomez from Celta Vigo.

By all accounts, this list appears to be plucked from thin air without any explanation of the genesis of the dozen names.

West Ham signed Anderson from Lazio last summer for a club record £35.5m. Last month reports suggested that the Brazilain would be allowed to leave if a top-six rival made a suitable bid.

His contract does not contain an official release clause, but the report claims a gentleman’s agreement meant the player would be allowed to move on if a bid in the region of £75 million landed on the table.
