Return of the ten percent ticket ballot

Details for West Ham’s first game of the Premier League have been published on the club’s website. The Hammers have an allocation 3,000 at Anfield on Sunday 12 August as they face Liverpool. Tickets go on sale to the 808 Bondholders this Friday with Season Ticket Holder holders with 14 points or more able to buy tickets from Monday 3 pm.

The announcement also sees the return of the 10% ticket ballot which saw trials last season. The new scheme is unpopular among some season ticket holders and earlier this year a Ticket Survey by WHUISA revealed that while 53% were in favor of the new 10% allocation system on a first come first served basis nearly 47% were against the new scheme.
