Hammer Said Benrhama had a great game for West Ham this afternoon with his performance only second Michail Antonio who dominated the goal scoring.

It was Benny’s first start pre-season after he returned from his holidays after International duty with Algeria.

The 25-year-old is sporting a new hair cut, new hair colour as well as changing his shirt number to 22, a number worn by his father.

The midfielder arrived at the London Stadium on loan from Brentford last summer.

He ended up joining on a permanent £20.75m million deal in January, having spent the previous three months at the London Stadium on a £4.25 million loan deal.

He is starting to show more consistency and is getting used to the Premier League pace and the defensive role required of him by David Moyes.

Benny was cool, calm and composed as he took his goal this afternoon to make it 4-2.

He could be like a new signing for David Moyes this coming season no longer in the shadow of Jesse Lingard.
