Rice is one of the best holding midfielders in the PL

Michail Antonio has told BBC Radio 5 that Declan Rice is one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League.

Antonio told BBC listeners “He’s up there as one of best holding defensive players in the league”

Antonio said he does not flinch when he hears valuations of up to £90 million for his teammate

“After Fernandinho, after Kante, I’d probably put him third….” Antonio added.

Jermaine Jenas also on the same radio show challenged Michail by saying “Why? I am not paying £90 million for him”

Antion replied saying “I am telling you now, against United Rashford has gone through and he’s running into the box, he’s got ten yards on Dec, I just knew Dec was going to get the ball.  He cleans up everything. Long legs, tall guy. it’s so hard to get around him. He keeps the team ticket,  he is technically quality, got his leg foot, got his right foot and he’s young”
