Rice saga takes another turn!

Here we go again with the Declan Rice sage taking a very familiar turn!

For weeks we have been reading that Arsenal are close to sealing a deal whilst Claret and Hugh has been regularly told and reported that no club has made an inquiry and certainly no offer.

However,  according to a Sky News reporter Chelsea – yes AGAIN – are set to confirm their interest very soon claiming they have had a longstanding admiration for the player.

That would be more acceptable had Frank Lampard or Thomas Tuchel actually made a bid but it simply didn’t happen.

Whether Graham Potter has an interest remains very much to be seen but our information remains the same from a key London Stadium source that there have been no inquiries or bids made from anywhere.

Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg took to Twitter to seemingly confirm Chelsea’s interest saying: He said: “Chelsea is definitely in the race and highly interested – confirmed! He’s one of the top candidates in order to strengthen the defensive midfield.”

Graham Potter’s side already splashed out a whopping £107million on Enzo Fernandez in January to shore up their midfield.
