Reports in Mexico suggest Chelsea are willing to rival West Ham for the signature of Javier HernandezPublimetro  claims Chelsea have now joined the race for the former Manchester United star.

The publication says Chicharito, faces a choice between the “rich” Blues and the “poor” Hammers.

The Mexican report says: “Walking the streets of West Ham is not what you would imagine represents London. For fans of the West Ham it is important, their support is reflected in every game and every pub, although from 2016 they left their Stadium, Upton Park, to go to the Olympic Stadium in London. Currently, coach Slaven Bilic relies on Andy Carroll, an English attacker who emerged from Newcastle, but declined in his career from the excessive taste for nightlife and parties, until his salvation came from West Ham, where he has resumed a second chance with 23 goals in almost 100 games.”

“Chelsea is the complete opposite of West Ham, in the streets surrounding Stamford Bridge you can breathe the opulence of the upper class of London. Fans enter the stadium dressed in ties and coats, almost like a gala just to enjoy the encounters of their beloved Blues”
