Sakho refutes West Brom medical claims

Diafra Sakho has taken to social media to refute claims he is having a medical with West Bromwich Albion today. Posting a photo of himself on Snapchat this afternoon Sakho wrote: “Who says I’m going to do a medical?”

The Daily Mail were one of a number of media outlets claiming the 26 year old West ham striker was undergoing a medical with West Brom.

Simon Jones wrote for the Mail this afternoon “Diafra Sakho is undergoing a medical at West Bromwich Albion ahead of his proposed £16million move from Premier League rivals West Ham. The Senegal striker has had injury concerns and Albion doctor Mark Gillett is putting the 26-year-old through the usual tests plus further scans later on Wednesday.”

Albion are claimed to have agreed a £10m deal for Sakho with West Ham with a further £6m in add-ons. What Sakho’s cryptic message means for the deal is unknown.
