Sam Allardyce is now the fifth highest paid boss in the Premier League following David Moyes’ sacking at Old Trafford.

The Hammers’ supremo is smiling all the way to the bank on a reported £2.5 million a year and sits behind Jose Mourinho (£8.37m), Arsene Wenger (£6.89m), Manuel Pellegrini (£3.47m) and Brendan Rodgers (£3.25m) in the wages table, despite West Ham sitting 12th.

Allardyce is reportedly paid the same wage as England manager Roy Hodgson and earns almost £1 million more than Spain’s World Cup and two-time European Championships winning manager Vicente del Bosque (£1.96m).
