Same again and Moysie surely in line for New Year deal

I’m expecting David Moyes contract talks to start soon as he heads towards Christmas and the New Year in a position which will allow the board to feel comfortable in offering him a two or three-year deal.

Ok, there are a few obstacles to be overcome but should he see his team continue in the sort of form that are producing such good results I reckon he could be on as many as 35 points by the end of January.

He has made it clear – along with the board – that he is focused solely on current events but it would be a surprise if he has reached the number of points that look possible he isn’t formalised as our new long term boss.

We have a mix of games coming up but I can see 17 or 18 points available against Man United (h), Leeds (a) Palace (h), Chelsea (a), Brighton (h) Southampton (a) Everton (a), West Brom (h) and Burnley (a).

Ok, predictions is a difficult game to play but should we manage to reach say 34 or 35 points by then I’m sure a contract will be slapped on the table.

It’s still early days of course and this is West Ham of course but hopefully, the stability is ongoing and the boss gets the deal he currently deserves.
