West Ham has confirmed that the season ticket waiting list has reduced from a high once claimed to be 55,000 down to 36,000.

The club confirmed in a statement today following an OSB ticketing meeting last night that in the two previous seasons, they have contacted supporters on the waiting list by email, SMS text and telephone about their priority to secure a Season Ticket and they have made contact by three different means to alleviate the chances of missing the opportunity while removing supporters who say they no longer want to be considered for a West Ham season ticket.

With a 90% season ticket renewal after the first season at the London Stadium and a 92% renewal at end of the second season, approximately 9,000 supporters previously on the season ticket list have now got London Stadium season tickets, another 3,000 obtained half season tickets recently when the capacity was increased from 57,000 to 60,000 bringing the total of non-founders to around 12,000.

The club confirmed today that 500 additional seats will be made available as soon as possible to the waiting list for next season.

If the renewal rate remains around 90% this summer then another 5,000 season tickets will be available to the waiting list for next season.

The club says that the waiting list is still popular with hundreds more regularly joining each month paying £10 for lifetime membership of the season waiting list.
