Shame of Liverpool player who encourages Evra abuse

Patrice Evra has made his debut for West Ham this afternoon as the Hammers take on an in-form Liverpool. His every touch so far jeered and booed by  Merseyside supporters.

His crime was being the victim of racist abuse by former Liverpool player, Luis Suarez in 2011.

The Uruguay international was given an eight-match ban by the Football Association after being found guilty of misconduct for using insulting words to Patrice Evra which included a reference to the player’s colour.

At the time Liverpool’s players disgracefully displayed their support for Suarez by releasing a statement and wearing T-shirts depicting an image of Suarez and his name and number seven

If this poor general behaviour from Northern fans wasn’t bad enough, former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise encouraged the abuse before kick-off. Riise told supporters to give a certain player an afternoon he will not forget.
