Hammers striker Javier Hernandez showed a glimpse of why West Ham forked out a £16m transfer fee and made him the Iron’s top earner on a reported £140,000 per week as he bagged a brace of goals away at Newcastle on Saturday afternoon.

Last week over seven hundred Claret and Hugh readers said he could go in January in a poll of over 4,500 votes allotting him  15% only behind Reece Oxford and Arthur Maskuku.

Today we ask whether one game has changed supporters hearts and minds when it comes to the Mexican striker.

The 30-year-old has made ten Premier League appearances this season scoring four goals. He also made two appearances in Cup games.

Last season he made 39 appearances in all competitions bagging 9 goals in total for the Hammers and in his final season in Germany, he scored 13 goals from 36 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen.

This evening we ask whether we should stick on twist on Chicharito this winter?
