Juventus had provisionally agreed a similar deal with Valencia to the one that brought Zaza to West Ham – a loan with an obligation to buy for £17m after a certain number of appearances is reached.
Zaza’s father Antonio said on Thursday: “The West Ham adventure is finished and we are looking at different options for his future. We’re speaking with Valencia but theirs is not the only concrete option we’re considering.
“Of course, my son would love to be coached by a great coach like Cesare Prandelli, but it’s possible that Simone could return to Serie A.”
If another club for Zaza cannot be found during the transfer window Juventus could force West Ham to honour their season long deal even if he is not played.
