Six years on – does the LS feel like home?

Before

It was six years ago that West Ham left Upton Park!

It was followed by some of the fiercest complaining heard from any fans of club that had switched to a new stadium and there have been six others currently occupying places in the Premier League.

I’m sure somebody will correct me if that’s wrong 🙂

The outcry was of course understandable to a degree and ALL of us Hammers fans were pretty emotional whether we finally accepted the move or not.

After

The accusations from some that those who accepted the new home were traitors was of course totally daft. Accepting what had become inevitable is never daft, just par for the course to many.

There are some who will never accept what happened, who have surrendered their season tickets, and may never see another  Hammers game.

But in all honesty the larger capacity and atmosphere inside that stadium rocks … remember games such as those against Man United, Liverpool the Euro nights and final home game of the season.

It now feels as though the London Stadium really is home.
