Sky Sports or MUTV – fans hit back at ‘biased’ coverage

Sky Sports did themselves absolutely no favours among Hammers fans with their coverage of the Hammers victory over Manchester United on Sunday.
They assembled  one of the most one sided commentary and pundit set-ups ever for a game of football with United  related indviduals Gary Neville, Roy Keans and Jose Mourinho on the premises with no Hammer past or present involved.
Here’s how Hammers fans at ClaretandHugh’s Facebook group responded https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/

O Gary Neville  spoke of Man United from start to finish. It really got to me as it seemed as there was only one team playing. Complete and utter joke. So biased.

O Some of Gary Neville’such as when Mark Noble took his shot side the box sicken me
O We need to keep going and stay in the top 6 – that’s how you force those smugs to pay you some respect. It just seemed me that media stole the hype of a great win from us. I  would understand more if it was Man United at home . It  would just have been nice got the credit thoes lads deserve for the
O An ex Hammer would have been a “little” fairer but I quite enjoyed Neville simmering away all game
O We shouldn’t be surprised. Sky have always had a love in with Liverpool & Man U, which was reflected it in their pundits yesterday. 2 ex Man U players, 1 ex Man U manager & 2 ex Liverpool players. Hardly balanced. Not until the 86th minute did Gary Neville admit we were the better team.
O It was not only Sky, I watched MOTD  as I missed the first half only to hear them say something about not worth watching. Then at the end the pundits just kept on about Man Utd didn’t play well, had no spark, no energy etc etc
O Neville will lose any credibility he had – if any!!
O Neville comparing Declan to McTominay was laughable. They’re not on the same planet.
O The  TV coverage was appalling, the worse I have ever seen for a Hammers game. It was like Unitd we’re playing an invisible team. It was if we didn’t exist.
Makes my blood boil, the utter bias towards the so called bigger clubs. It doesn’t help when Sky have the likes of Neville, Carragher and Souness, not wanting to say a bad thing about the clubs they play for.
O Neville and Keane, both Ex Man U and both failed to succeed as managers …so why expect anything else ?
