Slaven Bilic has been hit with an £8,000 fine by the FA for his microphone throwing outburst.

The Mirror reports Bilic slammed the TV audio equipment to the ground following Gareth McAuley’s last minute equaliser.

Assistant Nikola Jurcevic has also been fined the same amount for misconduct after being sent to the stands after a first-half rant.

The pair had until Thursday to appeal the charge but instead admitted improper conduct. They could have   been slapped with touchline bans but the FA decided a fine was enough.

A Hammers statement said: “The manager and assistant manager will both be available to sit on the bench for the Premier League visit to Watford on 25 February.”

A FA Statement read “West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic and his assistant Nikola Jurcevic have both been fined £8,000 after they admitted an FA misconduct charge and accepted the standard penalty.

The pair were charged with improper conduct in relation to incidents in the 90th and 19th minutes respectively during the game against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday 11 February 2017.”
